Samuel Rouse, Owner

Sam's maritime background is diverse, ranging from working on tall ships, building nuclear submarines, to sailing single-handed up and down the East Coast.In 2023, Sam graduated as class valedictorian from the Yacht and Small Craft Surveying course at Chapman School of Seamanship in Stuart, FL.Sam holds multiple certifications from the ABYC and NMEA, including the title of ABYC Master Marine Technician.Sam has appeared in multiple articles, including the Oriental, NC TownDock.net in 2022, and the Provincetown Independent in 2024.Sam is a proud Eagle Scout and holds an Amateur Radio license.

Rouse Marine Services LLC is a proud member of both the ABYC, the American Boat and Yacht Council, and the NMEA, the National Marine Electronics Association.The ABYC has set the standards for American recreational boatbuilding since 1954. ABYC boatbuilding standards are the industry standard and meet or exceed relevant USCG regulations. All of our work at Rouse Marine Services is performed to ABYC standards.The NMEA sets the standards for marine electronics data communication, ensuring the reliable operation of all your marine electronics. Their properties include the NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and NMEA OneNet data interface standards.
