ABYC AND NMEA
Rouse Marine Services is a proud member of both the ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council) and the NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association). The ABYC sets voluntary standards for the recreational boatbuilding industry. ABYC standards often meet or exceed relevant USCG regulations for commercial vessels as outlined in the CFR.The NMEA sets the standards for marine data communication, ensuring reliable operation of all your marine electronics. Their properties include the NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and NMEA OneNet data interface standards. Both organizations require us to stay up-to-date with the rapidly changing boatbuilding industry.
